As part of the participatory governance objectives of the Tudu Center for Leadership and Development commenced a community engagement session to specific areas designated to be potential hotspots during the December 7, polls. These areas are suspected to be hotspots in greater Tamale. Consequent to this, a community sensitization and outreach programme is rolled out to visit some selected Palaces within the identified communities. On 28th and 30th September, 2024 the team visited commenced with five communities in the Sagnarigu Municipal Area. The team comprising; Supt. Aggrey Barfogo, a Fellow at Tudu Center and retired Senior Police Officer, Hon. Abubakari Salim, Dean of Presiding Members, Northern Region, Mr. Osman Mubarik, Co-Founder, Tudu Center, and Dr Adam Illiasu, Fellow Tudu Center.
The team visited the palaces of Choggu, Sagnarigu, Kanvili, Sognayili, and Kalpohini all in the Sagnarigu Municipal Assembly.

These chiefs expressed their gratitude to the Tudu Center for the initiative and expressed their support for peace and transparent governance and elections especially during this coming polls. They appealed to the electoral commission and other key parties to ensure that the elections are held with level of confidence from the public and the political parties. They encouraged the electoral commission to always try to build confidence and trust to avoid any political instability in the country.

This programme is designed to roll out various measures and activities to ensure that the election process remains open and transparent and that the election results are fair leading to a successful outcome.
The Tudu Center is a local non governmental organization dedicated to promoting and supporting participatory governance and accountability in northern region. They are also engaged in promoting stable and sustainable peace and security in all areas of northern region
