The Tudu Centre for Leadership and Development (TCLD) was established in the year 2014 as a youth empowerment center that nurtures and inspires the youth to challenge developmental issues that are inimical to the future prosperity of Northern Ghana and the country as a whole. TCLD believes that every person has the opportunity to achieve his/her fullest potential and participate in and contribute to all aspects of life with the right information, support, and networks. The TCLD works with expertise in disability, education, employment, and workforce development issues.

Statement Of Purpose

The Tudu Centre for Leadership and Development (TCLD) is to reshape, redirect and uphold the values of social transformative leadership and promote holistic youth empowerment programming developed and implemented by young people through advocacy, training, capacity building, networking and research.

Governance

TCLD has a five member of board of directors at the apex of its decision making processes. The board members are experienced persons drawn from the academia, the media, the legal fraternity, the financial sector and development work. The board meets twice a year ordinarily and may convene extra-ordinary meetings when the need arises.
