On Sunday 1st September 2024 at 4:00pm the Tudu Center for Leadership and Development successfully held its maiden weekly training session for children within Wurishe and other surrounding communities in the Sagnarigu Municipality of Northern Region of Ghana. The training was facilitated by Ms. Zenabu Issaaka, a Senior Nursing Officer at the Tamale Technical University Hospital. She took the children through personal hygiene and how to keep themselves neat to live a healthy life. Her presentation focused on menstrual cycle to adults growth, maintaining clean teeth, avoiding bad odor, keeping neat hair cut and style for girls and boys etc. She encouraged the children to continue to be discipline and avoid bad habits and behaviors that would interfere with their development and education. She encouraged the Tudu Center to continue with the children initiative to improve their learning and skills at this stage of their lives.


The Co-Founder, Mr. Osman Mubarik, revealed that the Tudu Center has initiated this program to improve the quality and effectiveness of the children especially in their school and environment. He said, Tudu is committed to ensuring that every week during the weekend the children will have the opportunity to learn and participate in skills and activity that will help them develop their educational prowess so that they will be more productive and successful in the future.
Prior to the program, the children performed various activities such as cultural performances, role play to usher the Guest into the program.
