A successful event with the final year students of Ghana Senior High(GHANASCO) was held on Friday 28th July 2023.
The event marks the second edition of the Tudu Center’s Mentorship and Career Clinic for final year students for Senior High Schools in the Northern Region.
This year’s theme concentrated on 21st Century Career and Mentorship for young Senior High School students who are preparing to transit to the tertiary level. Speakers included; Dr. Arnold Mashud Abukari, Executive Director of AfriTech Hub and a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, TaTU, Dr. Hussein Hawawu, Head of Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, TaTU, and Mr. Osman Mubarik Abu, Co-Founder, Tudu Center for Leadership and Development(TCLD). The Speakers focused their presentations on understanding Higher Education in Ghana, Career selection in a 21st century, and mentorship and coaching in a digitized world.
Present during the event included; Alhaji Ibrahim Fatawu, Board Chairman of GHANASCO who also doubles as the Global President of the Old Ghanascans Association (OGA), Mr. Douglas Haruna Yakubu, Headmaster of the School. Others were the Assistant Headmasters, Guidance and Counseling staff and many more staff of the school.
This event is expected to be replicated in other Senior High Schools in the region.
